Gravy Train Films is looking for non-speaking extras for their film, DANCING WITH GAIA.
Extras will be provided with a credit and meals on the day of shooting (with the exception of the 5⁄4 shoot), but no pay. All locations are within the city limits of Chicago. Transportation will not be provided.
Saturday, May 4, 12 PM – 3 PM
Audience Members at Dance Showcase: Gender and age unspecified. Will provide reactions to a dance troupe’s performance.
Saturday, May 11, 8 AM – 6 PM
Audience Members at Comedy Club: Gender unspecified. Character age 20-35. Will provide reactions to a stand up comedian performance.
Sunday, May 19, 8 AM – 6 PM
Seated Patrons at Swing Bar: Gender unspecified. Character age 20-35. Provide atmosphere in swing club.
Sunday, May 19, 8 AM – 6 PM
Swing Dancers: Six male, six female. Age 18-30. Social lindy hop experience required. Provide dance backdrop to swing bar scene.
Saturday, May 25, 8 AM – 6 PM
Auditioning Dancers: Two male, two female. Character age 18-30. No on-camera dancing required. Provide atomosphere in pre-audition scene.
