Job Description

Be an integral member of a team of Microsoft systems engineers supporting systems providing an array of critical business services.

Primary responsibility for troubleshooting issues in the Microsoft environment
-
Participate in security and growth initiatives that relate to the corporate Microsoft environment
-
Manage system enhancement and operative improvement projects and tasks.
-
Operation and enhancement of Active Directory, Sharepoint, Rightfax, archiving, and other associated/3rd party applications and services.

Operation and enhancement of monitoring solutions
Required Skills
-
Ability to administer hardware and MS Windows operating systems.
-
Scripting abilities in a MS Windows environment.
-
Aggressive desire to learn new technologies.
-
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex troubleshooting issues.

Demonstrated attention to detail.

Ability to work in team environment.

Understanding of Backup and Storage infrastructures.

General use of MS Office Suite including Visio.
Required Experience
-
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Management, or a related field, or comensurate experience.

5+ years of progressive responsibility in IT

3+ years of Microsoft engineering experience, MCSE preferred

Experience with Windows 2000 & 2003 server, Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS SQL, MS Cluster technology, Sharepoint, MS SMS, HTML and ASP.

Solid knowledge of core services such as DNS, DHCP, FTP, file structures, IP addressing.
