So a few weeks ago, I signed up to get SMS alerts on my cell phone about CTA delays. Well, since I was out of town for the past week, I turned this service off.

And sure enough – on my way home this morning, I was delayed on the L. And only just now found out why.

Just thinking, that when you are organizing an event and choosing the person who will be in charge of composing and creating your communications, maybe the best choice isn’t the one who is infamous for terrible spelling? Or at least, one might consider proofreading before sending out official emails …
