On the Mac, I use a similar method via OmniFocus. In OF, you assign each task to a project and a "context", where the context is a place or a tool you need to get the job done, e.g. at home or at the computer. The trick is to think of other people as tools. Once you've made that intellectual leap, you can create contexts for them and assign them tasks from a project. Neat.

The main thing that sold me is that it does syncing right. So everything stays up-to-date between my work computer, my home computer, and my iPhone. I've very rarely found software which does this well. The first time I saw all my projects and tasks get synced all properly I think I peed myself a little.

It also has integration with various mail clients and other assorted programs, so it's got that going for it, which is nice.

P.S. who are Barry, Chris, and Ray? What happened to Alice and Bob?.

share the notebook with the team. password protect each section if you don't want Barry and Chris to see each other's sections, but this way you can all have the same status in real time...

Seriously. The only reason I use Evernote instead of OneNote sometimes is if I want to be able to get at it "on the go", i.e., on my iPhone. If there was a good way to be able to take notes on my iPhone and get them into OneNote, I'd be oh so happy.
