iPhone vs. BlackBerry

August 7, 2009

Overheard in our living room last night Carrie: (watching me type laboriously on my iPhone) You using an iPhone is like you suddenly liking tall, thin girls with small boobs. You’re a BlackBerry man. Matt: If I could type faster on this thing, I’d totally post that. So yeah. I’m trying out the iPhone as [...]

Thursday Tech Tip – The Email Management Project (Kickoff)

April 9, 2009

Ah email. Such a necessary part of our life, both work and personal…and such a large drain on our time and energy. According to some estimates, over 180 billion email messages are sent a day. Granted, most information leads us to believe that approximately 75% are spam and viruses, but that still leaves us with [...]

I {heart} Gmail

February 9, 2006

Why people are being stupid about gmail…

June 23, 2004

So I’ve seen a lot of posts on discussion boards and LJ, as well as websites, in which people are freaking out about how “evil” gmail is, and how Google is doing all these things wrong and how nobody should use it in the interests of protecting privacy. And I’ve had about enough of this [...]

Some important email virus information

August 21, 2003

A couple friends of mine have been “accusing” me of emailing them viruses…so I figured this was as good a time as any to discuss exactly HOW these viruses work, and why you shouldn’t go all apeshit when you get a virus that APPEARS to come from a certain email address. Basically, this is how [...]
