The person who wrote that is Yehoodi’s village idiot. She is so well known for being naive, unintelligent and thick-headed that she’s inspired a verb named after her, defined loosely as someone who misses the point so completely yet argues so vehmently as to derail the thread completely.

I’m sure a lot of the comments on this post are tinged with general anger over the election. But let me assure you that my comments, and probably the rest as well are targeted directly at her.

There are a few very intelligent, well-spoken conservatives who contribute a lot to discussions and are respected on Yehoodi. She is just an idiot who happens to be conservative. She could be a liberal moron and still get the same reactions.

The only thing, KMP – the people referring to the girl as “the village idiot” actually know her and are basing that on a lot more than just the one quote I posted there.

I stand by my point that there are such things as “whitebread Bible-belt whackadoos”. Just like there are “braless hippie freak nutjobs”. No ideology or political party has a monopoly on fanaticism or idiocy. Except for the Idiot Party, but they never manage to get on the ballot because they always lose the paperwork.

When I read this thread, what I saw was intolerance for anyone who thinks differently than you. I saw things like “village idiot”, “simple-minded” and “buffoons” to mention a few.

The Democrats (and from what I’ve read here all of you) preach tolerance, yet looking above I also see things like “whitebread Bible Belt whackadoos”, “the village idiot who believes in creationism” and “There’s no way that girl has ever gotten laid. No wonder she’s in love with Jesus.”

Look, I’m just saying feel free to vent if you’re angry. But please don’t be so elitist as to think that anyone who has a different opinion than you (be it politically or theologically) is automatically uneducated, irresponsible or just plain downright stupid. Because that would be both ignorant and intolerant.
